Unfiltered Minds is a nationwide open mic night redefining what it means to talk about mental health. Created and hosted by therapist Madina Alam, LMHC, this event travels to 6 different cities across the U.S., bringing together communities to share stories of vulnerability, resilience, and hope.
Unlike traditional panels or lectures, Unfiltered Minds is raw, real, and human — a space where people step up to the mic not to perform, but to connect. Attendees are invited to listen, reflect, and celebrate the power of storytelling as a path to healing.
Each night highlights voices from all walks of life — proof that courage and connection can coexist with struggle. Whether you come to share or simply to listen, you’ll leave reminded that healing is messy, beautiful, and possible.
Join us for an evening where vulnerability is celebrated, shame is replaced with strength, and mental health becomes a shared story — not a silent one.
