Evidence-Based Treatment That Actually Works
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is often misdiagnosed, misunderstood, and mistreated in outpatient settings. Many clients spend years in therapy receiving supportive talk therapy, cognitive restructuring, or reassurance-based approaches that unintentionally reinforce the OCD cycle.
This 3-hour clinical training provides a comprehensive, practical introduction to Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) — the gold-standard treatment for OCD.
Participants will leave with a clear understanding of how to confidently assess OCD, design exposure hierarchies, target compulsions (including subtle and mental rituals), and implement ERP ethically and effectively in real-world practice.
Madina Alam, LMHC, is a licensed therapist and founder of Mental Health Madina, PLLC.
